Sunny, Pepper and April, three chickens of my childhood, inspired this egg package design. I created three different packages, each with a different chicken, color, poem and bonus salsa “egg” to match the personality of each hen as well as the color of the salsa itself. I used the font Hamurz as the primary font and Source sans pro as a secondary font. I used Hamurz to create a country and somewhat rustic feel and source sans pro as simple body copy to make the poems about the hens easily legible.
